It is widely utilized in paints, coatings, leather, and other industries. However, under certain conditions, OIT-98 may undergo crystallization, which can adversely affect its performance. This report aims to analyze the underlying causes of OIT-98 crystallization.

2. Analysis of Crystallization Causes

The crystallization of OIT-98 may be attributed to several factors:

2.1 Temperature Variations

At room temperature, OIT-98 remains in a liquid state. However, at low temperatures (below 10°C), its solubility decreases, potentially leading to the precipitation of components and subsequent crystal formation. Additionally, repeated temperature fluctuations can promote crystallization by destabilizing the solution.
