1.Product introduction

OIT-45(2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, CAS: 26530-20-1) is a broad-spectrum and highly effective anti-fungal fungicide with no VOC, no odor, no biological accumulation, and can be quickly decomposed by hydrolysis, photodegradation and biodegradation in the environment. It is stable under strong light and high temperature, has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and efficient characteristics, and the effective ingredients can capture microorganisms in an all-round way, killing them by breaking the bond between bacteria and algae proteins. After contact with microorganisms, it can rapidly and irreversibly inhibit their growth and lead to the death of microbial cells, and has a strong inhibition and killing effect on common molds, bacteria, fungi, algae, etc. To achieve the ideal anti-mildew effect, can be widely used in paint, lubricating oil, shoe polish, leather chemistry, wood products and cultural relics protection and many other products.

3.Field of use

OIT-45(2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, CAS: 26530-20-1) is used in plastic, rubber, paint film, wood and other fields of long-term anti-mold sterilization.

3.1.Plastic, polyurethane, thermoplastic polymer, natural rubber, wood, leather.

3.2.Interior and exterior latex paint film is mildew resistant.

3.3.Underground anti-mold coating, anti-mold coating for food factory.

3.4.The walls of swimming pool, toilet, canteen and other damp and dark places are mildew proof.

3.5.Glutinous rice glue, acrylic pigment, color paste.

3.6.Special sealant, glass glue to prevent mildew.

4.Precautions for use

4.1.OIT-45 must be tested for compatibility before use to confirm that it does not react with the system or discolor the system before use.

4.2.OIT-45 should be used to prevent the reaction with emulsifier, resulting in flocculation or emulsion breaking of the coating. Especially waterproof paint, alkali resistant primer, and pure acrylic emulsion and fine particle size emulsion system.

4.3.OIT-45 should be used to prevent discoloration, which may cause discoloration of the product system, especially construction glue and light-colored real stone paint.

4.4.OIT-45 should be used to prevent chemical burns. It will cause chemical burns to the skin when it comes into contact with the skin. Once it comes into contact with the skin, please rinse it with tap water and soap for more than five minutes.
