Abstract: DCOIT-30 (4,5-Dichloro-2-octyl-isothiazolone, CAS: 64359-81-5) is a kind of high efficiency, broad spectrum and environmental protection anti-mold antibacterial agent, which has a strong inhibitory effect on various molds, fungi and algae. It can be used for both in-tank sterilization and antiseptic and dry film anti-mold and anti-algae. It can be widely used in all kinds of ship antifouling coatings, water-based coatings, adhesives, pigment pulp, cement mortar, bamboo and wood bonding board, bamboo and wood products, industrial oil, plastics, leather, textile printing and dyeing products or materials.

DCOIT-30 does not contain VOC, formaldehyde, heavy metals, low toxicity and easy decomposition.

3.Instructions for use

DCOIT-30 is irritating to the eyes and skin, and should be protected during operation and use. If there is a splash on the skin, rinse with a lot of cold water and soap. After adding DCOIT-30 to the material, it must be thoroughly stirred. DCOIT-30 is suitable for anti-mold putty powder, dry powder anti-mold coating, paper, leather and other anti-mold anticorrosion. DCOIT-30 recommended use of 0.1% to 0.3% of the total product, in the latex paint, the production of environmental protection and mildew resistant latex paint, the recommended use of 0.3% to 0.5% of the total product. Customers can also adjust the dosage according to the different requirements of production, storage and construction to meet the performance requirements of formula design.

4.Packing and storage

Packing: 25/200kg plastic drum packing. The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse under closed conditions, the storage temperature range is 0 ~ 40℃, and avoid being placed in direct sunlight. This product does not belong to the chemical dangerous goods, according to the transport regulations of non-hazardous chemicals.

Validity: One year under the specified storage and transportation conditions.
